The Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux has been awarded the “Green Key” label! Winner in 2022
An award for a team that is committed to nature with the management of water, energy, waste…
An award for an establishment that does not renounce comfort for its customers but suggests a more natural and eco-responsible stay…
Finally a reward thanks to our customers, because sustainable tourism is born from the respect of each one!
The hotel is now entirely non-smoking in order to ensure the freshness of our rooms for each of our guests. A space with an ashtray under the protected lobby of the entrance is conducive to respect this news, we thank you in advance.

For 7 years now, the hotel terrace has been home to beehives. This approach enriches our morality for a better environment because it is accompanied.
The beekeepers of the castle meadow take care of the bees and put their golden recipe in pots.
The honey is for sale at each harvest. We wish you a good tasting!

Our energy needs

The lighting of the establishment is 100% Led.
Timers for the night lights reduce consumption and pollution.
We have installed a rainwater collector on the terrace for summer watering.
We have chosen to send and receive invoices by e-mail and limit printing.

The Impact of Our waste

We adhere to the “To Good to Go” anti-waste programme to limit the loss of food from our gourmet breakfast buffet.
We have set up a waste sorting, recycling and reduction system by training our teams.
The linen at the end of the cycle is reused for cleaning.

Getting Around Differently

We invite our clients to rent a bicycle, with or without electric assistance, from our neighbouring “Vélo’cab”.
We are certified and provide our customers with a repair kit.
We have installed a rack in the hotel’s garage.
3 recharging points for electric vehicles on reservation

We buy local

For a better breakfast, we favour local products in order to offer an optimal gustative quality

Our Partners

We choose partners with the same values
Our Responsible Purchasing Charter is preferably shared by our suppliers and service providers to meet our “Green Key” commitment

An Increase In Skills

We encourage the development of skills
We take advantage of training courses for all our employees via Best Western and the “ého” classes.
(new BestWestern hotel training school)
We value internal development.

Positive Collaboration

We favour positive collaboration
When renewing materials, modernising equipment, changing furniture, the staff is given priority, and then we give the local associations the benefit
